Hold on. Is this music to your ears?

Our callers are special to us. As such, we figured that the least we could do to thank them for picking up the phone was to make any time spent on hold to us as comfortable and lovely as possible.

Cue cheesy hold music, right?

Well, no actually - see, we thought our callers deserved better.

So, instead of putting in the usual order for 'Robbie Williams - Angels' performed on panpipes, we instead chose to commission an original piece of down-tempo electronica (we're reliably informed that's the right name for it!) from a producer local to us in Brighton.

Thing is - it's not us that has to listen to it.

So, we've hosted the track here - on Soundcloud and we'd love to hear your opinions as to whether we got it right.

If it grates on you, which commercially available track do you think would be a better fit? Our (admittedly weirdly contrary) brief: Funky and warm - yet chilled.
